20 Bars Lyrics

In February, I released 20 Bars a short track I really appreciate that this is me. It was meant to be a freestyle that I had to do for TeamBhoo Boss, Schingy but because I'm AGE I like to make sense in my music so I had to write it down and record within three days. By the way, I am partnering with TeamBhoo so be ready to get more music from this partnership. So below are the Lyrics of the song and downloading or streaming links enjoy.

MALUME

Mvura naya, naya naya
Nekuti pandopinda ndovapisa kusvika vakwara
Chitoenda kunotipa rimwe Boys kuti chatochaya
Ndinoita original kwete fake Gwara gwara
Team Bhoo 2018 Major Playaz
Gone international This is our year Caz
No trick under our sleeves this is not a circus
Predict I'm gonna fall but I’m on my feet sekatsi
Hapadi 1 or 2 Toda riri create
Handidi ma sober minds around me cz hazvimake sense
Ndiri kurova kunge ma rapper aya ataimboridza pama cassette
Ndokusiyai muchiridza Maoko kunge vana veku creche
Then I take you to church hit a verse then you are like hey man
Setting fire in the den you were like a caveman
BLOW IT UP, leave you there plan dead
Then move away from the scene like Michael Jackson
Ndombokuitira maskiribidi
All the way from the Diaspora but ini ndine zvivindi
Kutenga kombi kuti ini ndiite windi
Kana kukoka gidi ndotonga kunge ED

Should one focus on Albums over Singles?

TUKU started up the show with so much life

I was at the OzLinkUp in Melbourne in October and I witnessed some performance from some fellow ZimHipHop artist and Zim Dance-hall. Obviously, I can't put the Legend Mtukudzi on this level as he is already an inspiration on his own level. My attention was on the younger artist who came namely Takura, Celcius and Exquisite, quoting Mtukudzi's words at the OzLinkUp press conference " Music is not about competition it's about complimenting each other" my mission was to learn from the younger artist because it's easy to see flaw with them than a senior who knows his job within a heartbeat.

Takura was introduced on the stage by a vibrant DJ Towers who made a great MC as an entertainer. Takura's choice of music was rather underwhelming coming from a performance of the legend Tuku I thought he will just give us hit after hit. After just one hit (MaObama) he started singing new music, then he finished with Zino Irema people where already waiting for the next guy. Celcius came as a surprisingly good replacement for Freeman as he came with energy to a stage where no one had a clue of any of his songs. His performance was really on fire as u known the advantages of Dance-hall artist is performing known riddims, so he took that chance well making people sing along to new songs and dance different from how Takura needed everyone to listen to his songs. Mr Putiti had to close the night with his range of music from the Urban Groves movement to the current Afro-pop vibe he took the stage on fire calling other artists on stage and sharing the stage with DJ Towers.

Celcius

Ziggy Zee wrote me this "Many artists make the mistake of thinking you have to be famous to be able to entertain well..but its a matter of kurongeka, lyrical content and a good performance. there is no way every crowd is going to know all your songs..you got to have faith in what you do and go for it 💯" and I agree with him.

There is always something that I get from my encounter with other musicians, in September I shared the stage with an artist from Ghana, Liberia and Sierra Leone, I got the vibe that there is really a difference between a performer and entertainer. Last week I wasn't in the stage I was part of the crowd and I got to admit HAVING A LARGE LIBRARY OF MUSIC IS BETTER THAN JUST FOCUSING ON ONE HIT SINGLE. I get all of you guys are just waiting on that one song that will give me the breakthrough, several guys were disappointed that I wasn't performing that night and one guy said to me straight I just need a Hit. On the contrary, the weekend has shown me I need an Album that is full of hits to play with. You can look at Big Shaq he is getting money from his hit Man's not Hot but after that will he be able to come with something better and when he gets on stage how many minutes will he last?

I'm in the process of finishing the next album right now, this one I will focus on some videos. Will do a short EP next in a different genre just to taste the other lane. I don't know if I will get a hit or not but I don't just want to be a performer or entertainer, I want to be like the Legend Mtukudzi who done the longest performance at his age with a vast majority of music and experience.

Oh and I purchased Stunner's physical signed copy Album for about $12 that's like triple the normal prices. #SupportLocalMusic .

Thank you for your attention hope no one got the wrong message this just something I had to voice out.
